Welcome to the Gentlemen Songsters' Website

The Gentlemen Songsters began in 1932 as the Chevrolet Glee Club of Detroit. It was founded by Dave Redwood a general foreman at the Chevrolet-Detroit Forge Plant who thought that men needed to do something more than work all day.

We have a new rehearsal location. We have moved to Lincoln High School located at 22900 Federal Ave. in Warren Michigan. the corner of 9 Mile Road and Federal Street . The rehearsal room is in the music room. Turn left to end of parking lot behind high school, see double doors, enter there, first room right of doors.

We are members of the Great Lakes Male Chorus Association,  Each year we participate in an "Annual Sing" in which we join voices with approximately 300 singers from around the Michigan/Indiana/Ohio area. This year, we will be joining with other GLMCA choruses in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Click on the GLMCA District Sing tab on the left or the link on the right for more information.

We also participate in Industry Sings. This is an annual concert in the spring where we join with other industry choruses (Detroit Edison Glee Club, General Motors Employee Chorus, and Ford Motor Employees Chorus). Click on the logo to the right for more information on this year's concert.

We are available to entertain from September to July at banquets, churches, civic associations and retirement homes. Contact Rob Cole at (248) 280-1593, or online at
